Mood Board

The looks are inspired by three particular Artists / Filmakers:

Bradford Young, Steve McQueen & Andy Warhol

Young and McQueen both work in traditional film as well as fine art (museum) installations, and are known for a realistic style, often working primarily with natural and practical lighting. Both are African American

The NIGHT club scenes are also informed by the work of artist Andy Warhol’s factory films, 8mm film grain with 60’s pop saturated color. Eddie Sedgwick & Nico of the Velvet Underground are excellent references here.
